 Offering is worship and our Lord Jesus Christ emphasized on the true worshipers. “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”(John 4:23). True worship begins in the heart and then flows through the works. The true offering is born in Love, Voluntary and Faith in the heart of the giver before his hands drop money or something in the offering basket. This is not possible until the giver has a biblical attitude about offering. In these times of the great wave of prosperity gospel, offering has been the cause of conflicts, discrimination and spiritual measure of believers. Those who give lots and huge offerings have been gaining more respect regardless their relationship with God. Offering is regarded as tax, church membership fees or contribution for church operations and ministers.
